Delete your data

You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you at any time. It's free, and you don't need to give a reason.

How to ask

1. Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data".
2. Send it from the email address you use with Hello Five Dock, so we know it's really you. If you can't, tell us which address it is and we'll check another way.
3. We'll delete your data within 30 days and email you to confirm when it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your account: your email address, name, suburb and sign-in history.
• Your newsletter subscription.
• Any listing claims you made, including uploaded proof documents.

If you manage a business or group listing, the listing itself stays in the directory, because it's public business information, but it will no longer be linked to you. The same goes for any offers you posted on a listing. If you'd like those taken down as well, just say so in your email.

Signed in with Google?

We only ever received your name and email address from Google. Deleting your Hello Five Dock data as above removes that too. You can also remove Hello Five Dock's access from your Google account: visit your Google account's third-party connections, select Hello Five Dock and choose to delete all connections.

Removing access there stops future sign-ins, but it doesn't delete what we already hold, so please email us as well.

Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. To switch between Tuesday, Friday or both, reply to any edition and we'll change it.
