Free volunteer-run local history museum in Concord
The City of Canada Bay Heritage Society runs this volunteer museum, which tells the stories of the area's suburbs, Five Dock included. Entry is free, though donations are welcome. On the first Saturday of each month there's a guest speaker, and the society also runs open days at the historic Yaralla estate. It's well worth a visit for anyone curious about local history.
