Concord Hospital Palliative Care Volunteer Service
Volunteer companionship and support for palliative care patients
Volunteers at the Concord Centre for Palliative Care give companionship and respite to patients and carers, both on the ward and in the community. They also run art and craft activities, help at mealtimes and take the popular 'Jolly Trolley' around the unit. New volunteers complete training and hospital orientation, and can start by calling the volunteer coordinator.
