Annual Italian street festival on Great North Road, every August
Ferragosto is the City of Canada Bay's yearly Italian street festival, which closes Great North Road between Lyons Road and Fairlight Street for a day each August. It has run for nearly three decades and brings food stalls, live music, comedy, cooking demonstrations and children's rides. The 2026 festival was on Sunday 16 August from 10am to 5pm.
