The Birkenhead Hotel is a corner pub on Lyons Road, built around 1928 and run by the Clark family since 1995. The bistro, Vito's Rustic Table, serves lunch Wednesday to Sunday and dinner nightly. Regular events include Wednesday trivia, a Thursday badge draw and free pool on Sundays, and there are budget rooms upstairs.
