Black Poison began in 2012 when Davide and Trish Salmeri started baking muffins out of a garage, before opening their Five Dock café on Queens Road. Now known as The Lab, it serves breakfast, lunch, coffee and house-made sweets from an open kitchen where pastry chefs experiment with new creations. It is open seven days, with outdoor seating and dogs welcome.
