Metro site brings overnight heavy lifting to Great North Road on Thursday

Heads up for neighbours of the Metro site on Great North Road: there's another night of deliveries from 7pm Thursday 22 October to 7am Friday 23 October. Trucks will pull up on Great North Road and a 150-tonne mobile crane will lift site offices and materials into the western site, where crews will then fix and connect the offices. Expect traffic controllers and signs around the site. It follows similar nights on 8 and 15 October, with Thursday 29 October held in reserve if the weather or deliveries push things back.
