Zeekr bumps Five Dock onto the world map with its first repair centre

Electric car brand Zeekr has opened its first standalone body repair centre anywhere in the world, and it's in Five Dock. The centre opened over the weekend of 3 and 4 October. It covers 2,500 square metres with 36 repair bays and eight Zeekr-trained technicians, and the company says it can repair about 120 cars a month with an average turnaround of 10 days. It handles accident and structural repairs, panel and paint, and recalibrating driver-assistance cameras and sensors, using genuine parts. Until now, Zeekr owners relied on outside repairers. Zeekr Australia's managing director Frank Li said the centre was "tangible proof of our long-term commitment to Australia". The brand has delivered more than 10,000 cars here in under two years.
